M365 NOTICE Users located in Canada and the Northeast US may experience issues accessing M365 services Service Restored More info: The following list isn't exhaustive, but provides examples of how users may have been impacted by this event: - Exchange Online: Users may have been unable to connect to Exchange online through the Outlook desktop client, Outlook on the web, or Outlook mobile. Users may have seen an endless loading screen or an error. - Teams: Users may have been unable to access Teams. Users may have experienced authentication issues that prevented them from accessing other M365 apps. Final status: After extended monitoring, the service provider has confirmed the service has fully recovered. Scope of impact: Any user located in Canada, or whose network traffic was directed through the unhealthy infrastructure in Canada and the Northeast US, attempting to access M365 services may have been affected. M365 NOTICE Some users may experience issues with one or more M365 services Service Restored More info: Impact scenarios from this event included: - Users were unable to authenticate to M365 services, including Exchange and Outlook. - Users were able to authenticate to Teams; however, users experienced degraded functionality including impact to chat/team creation and search. - Users experienced issues with connectors/flows in the Power Platform and logic apps. - Users received 500 errors and were unable to access the Purview service. Final status: Following the service provider's reversion of the problematic code change, they’ve monitored service telemetry and worked with previously impacted customers to confirm that service is restored. Scope of impact: Any user attempting to access or use the services and features outlined within the 'More info' section of this communication were impacted. Resolved: Microsoft Planner: Users may not have been able to use the “Filter by keyword” option when accessing Microsoft Planner from Microsoft Teams. Additionally, users' profile pictures and initials were not always shown on Basic Microsoft Planner tasks or when assigning tasks to users. The user detail impact may have affected users leveraging any Microsoft Planner access method, including Planner on the web or Microsoft Planner within Microsoft Teams. |
