This issue may have allowed users to see and install Teams-specific public apps that were blocked by your organization's policies, though line-of-business apps aren't impacted. Final status: The service provider has validated via internal service health telemetry and returned API calls that their targeted fix has been successfully implemented, and users are now unable to see and install Teams-specific public apps as expected in alignment with your organization's policies. To ensure mitigation, affected admins may need to restart their current session of the Teams admin center to have the fix complete its saturation. They're applying a targeted fix to ensure the apps are filtered as intended. Scope of impact: Any user whose organization's polices block Teams-specific apps in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint may be erroneously able to see and install them. |
