TEAMS NOTICE Approximately one percent of users Lenovo devices may see a black preview screen in Teams meetings Details Title: Users with Lenovo devices may see a black preview screen due to camera restart failures during Teams meetings User impact: Users with Lenovo devices may see a black preview screen due to camera restart failures during Teams meetings. Current status: We've identified that a recent external driver change has caused an increase in restart failures occurring for cameras built-in to Lenovo devices which is resulting in a black preview screen being shown during Teams meetings and calls. We're working with the Lenovo support team to determine what driver change may have resulted in impact to identify potential long-term solutions. Meanwhile, we've determined that turning off the option for HD resolution resolves the issue and prevents camera restarts from occurring. We’ll perform this operation for any organization that opens a support case and requests to have HD resolution disabled.
