Service Degradation
Title: Some users can't access the Professional Learning Community (PLC) notebook in Teams
User Impact: Users can't access their PLC notebook in all Teams connection methods.
More info: Affected users can access the PLC notebook in OneNote as a workaround.
Current status: The service provider is reviewing available diagnostic data and recently deployed changes to isolate the source of impact and identify troubleshooting actions.
Scope of impact: Some users accessing the PLC notebook in any Teams connection method may be affected.

Users are unable to record meetings in Teams desktop and web client
Title: Users are unable to record meetings in Teams desktop and web client
More info: After a user initiates recording, they receive a message that recording is pending; however, it doesn't resolve. Transcription isn't affected.
Current status: While service provider was in the process of reviewing recent updates and service telemetry related to recording requests, their service health monitoring indicated that the issue is no longer occurring, although no service-side remediation actions were taken. They additionally received confirmation from some previously affected users that they're now able to record meetings in Teams. They'll continue to monitor meeting recording requests to ensure that the problem doesn't re-occur, as well as continue their investigation into the underlying cause of this problem.
Scope of impact: Your organization is affected by this issue, and any user attempting to record a Teams meeting is affected.

Title: Some event organizers are unable to access post event resources for Teams live events and webinars
User Impact: Event organizers are unable to access post event resources for Teams live events and webinars.
More info: Examples of affected event resources include recordings, attendance reports, transcripts, Q&A, etc. To avoid this impact, the serviec provider advises event organizer to not copy-paste a join link into the event description sent to presenters. To invite attendees, copy the attendee link and send it in a separate invite.
Current status: The service provider has identified a recent change to the Exchange Online service has caused a misconfiguration which is impacting Teams live events and webinar. They're in the process of developing and validating a fix which they anticipate will resolve this issue.
Scope of impact: Any event organizer that copy-pastes a join link into the event description may be affected.
Root cause: A recent change to Exchange Online has caused a misconfiguration which is impacting Microsoft Teams live events and webinar.

Title: Some users may be unable to create a new contact folder when using Outlook on the web ID: EX314036

Details
Title: Some users may be unable to create a new contact folder when using Outlook on the web
User Impact: Users may have been unable to create a new contact folder when using Outlook on the web.
More info: As an alternative method of creating new contact folders, users could have utilized the Outlook desktop client.
Final status: We've deployed a fix that has overridden the offending change and confirmed via internal monitoring that impact is remediated.
Scope of impact: Impact was specific to Outlook on the web users with mailboxes that didn't have the MyContactsExtended search folder by default.

Root cause: A misconfiguration within a recent feature update, intended to deprecate legacy default folders, was unexpectedly resulting in impact.
Next steps:
- We're reviewing our update procedures to better identify similar contact folder creation issues within future feature updates during our development and testing cycles.
