Details Title: Users' outgoing email messages on Outlook on the web may be saved in the Drafts folder instead of the Sent folder User Impact: Users' outgoing email messages on Outlook on the web may be saved in the Drafts folder instead of the Sent folder. More info: The email messages are successfully sent but appear in the Drafts folder after sending. The impact is specific to them not showing in the Sent folder as expected. Current status: We've received feedback from the affected users for whom we enabled the fix, who have confirmed that impact persists. We've reached out to their representatives to provide HTTP Archive format (HAR) logs to help determine why the fix was not successful. Scope of impact: This issue may impact any user sending email messages through Outlook on the web. Start time: Monday, August 22, 2022, at 2:03 PM UTC Root cause: A recent update to Outlook on the web service components contains a code issue, causing messages to be sent as expected but not moved out of the Drafts folder. Current status: We're reaching out to the affected users for whom we've enabled the fix so that we can confirm it safely and effectively resolves the impact. After confirmation is received, we'll safely enable the fix for the rest of the affected users. Scope of impact: This issue may impact any user sending email messages through Outlook on the web.
