Service Restored

More info: Examples of impacted connection methods were:
- Outlook on the web
- Messaging API (MAPI)
- Representational State Transfer (REST)
- Exchange ActiveSync (EAS)
Final status: The service provider has determined that a portion of Exchange Online infrastructure which facilitates access to Exchange Online mailboxes through the impacted connection methods wasn't performing as efficiently as expected and resulted in intermittent access issues. Their automated recovery system restarted the affected portion of infrastructure, and they've confirmed with monitoring telemetry that the impact is resolved.
Scope of impact: Some users located in Canada may have intermittently been affected by this issue when attempting to access their mailboxes using any connection methods.

Final status: The service provider has identified that a component of infrastructure, responsible for facilitating mailbox access, was unresponsive and resulted in impact. They've restarted the affected component and confirmed impact has been remediated.
Scope of impact: Impact was specific to some users who were located or served through the affected infrastructure in Canada.

Final status: After the process of increasing our service's ability to handle large amounts of traffic completed, the service provider performed an extended period of monitoring service telemetry to ensure that the aforementioned change didn't bring about any adverse effects and later confirmed that the issue has been resolved.
Scope of impact: Your organization was affected by this event, and some users who attempted to view installed apps or add-ins within any Outlook connection method were intermittently impacted.

Service Degradation

Current status: the service provider has identified a recent change to optimize their service which introduced an issue that resulted in an inordinate amount of traffic volume, causing users to be intermittently unable to see app installations or definitions within any Outlook connection method. While they've confirmed that impact isn't actively occurring, as of Monday, April 7, 2025, at 1:10 PM AST, they're working to develop a solution to ensure that this issue doesn't reoccur.
